Retro Kanto is a re-creation of the classic adventure from Red and Green. Players can re-live this nostalgic adventure, battling their way through 8 Gyms and the Elite Four to become Champion in this land of pixelated nostalgia. Though familiar, a few unique surprises await curious players. Retro Kanto was built by Jext.

Players can access Retro Kanto via the Airport. To leave the region, talk to the right attendant in any Pokémon Center. New and returning players begin their adventure in Pallet Town.

Unique Content[]

Pallet Fields[]

This area is just west of Pallet Town and features some Johto mons. Wild mons' levels match the average level of your team, so it is a good place to train.

Mt. Pallet[]

This area is within Pallet Fields and full of Unown. Can you solve the puzzle?

WARNING: This puzzle was created by the master troll himself, Jext.

Solution:

Near the top left corner there will be an old man saying "The answer you seek is... ...0... ...1... ...5...", simply talk to him 15 times and you will be able to jump the gap. You will know you did it right because the old man will have different dialogue thanking you for keeping him company.

Celadon Woods[]

Not much is known about this mysterious place, you'll have to check it out yourself!

WARNING: This puzzle was created by the master troll himself, Jext.

Encounters[]

For more detailed information, see Retro Kanto Encounters.

Retro Kanto uses the original encounter tables from Red and Blue. It does not use the encounters from Yellow, Fire Red and Leaf Green, or Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee. You can look up a guide on Red and Blue to find a detailed breakdown of percents.
