It is a vivacious, vernal mini-region inspired by springtime and associated cultural traditions. Travel to Easter Island is possible via the Airport. After completing the first chapter of the story, the Player can choose to leave the region by speaking to the Elder to the south of the Village.

The main story scenario was written by Twitch, with additional event coding by Fuzzy, MegaCrustle, Jext, and Light. Tiles were made by Kyledove, Light, Ginzuishou, Princess-phoenix, and Magiscarf. Maps were contributed by Light, Ginzuishou, and MegaCrustle. Sounds were courtesy of DrTapeworm, skurleton, Azria, and Fuzzy, and sprites were contributed by Twitch, Koizumi_Koharu, Marshlands, Fuzzy, Larrel, Light, Azria, DrTapeworm, Kyledove, Z-nogyroP, pudding, DaybreakM-Diapause, gojakobii, PixelMister, and KingTapir. 

Part 1 debuted May 2nd, 2020.

==Story==

<u>Part 1</u>

Every year, the people of Easter Island gather in springtime to celebrate the awakening of their guardian Pokemon, the Lifebringer. However, this year, the Lifebringer has not awakened. The people must participate in a ritual to help rouse the Lifebringer from its sleep. 

In order to wake the Lifebringer, the people of Easter Island hatch eggs. Select trainers participate in a totem challenge, facing 5 challenges as well as tests of their battling ability and egg-hatching capability. 

Participating trainers receive an Easter Island Totem. When each challenge is completed, the totem powers up, gaining energy. Presenting a fully-powered totem to the Lifebringer should help to awaken it.

=== Walkthrough - Part 1 ===

==== Area 1: Sunnyside Village ====
When you first arrive in Sunnyside Village, the Elder will give you a rundown of the plot and give you your Starter Pokemon. If you don’t get this dialogue, walk down and then up again and it should start. You MUST receive your Starter Pokemon to continue!

In order to progress, hatch 5 eggs and then defeat the Blackbelt under the tree in battle. 

The Blackbelt will give you an Easter Island Totem Lv1. Show it to the gatekeeper north of town to progress to the next area.

==== Area 2: Bunny Beach ====
Next to the entrance of the beach is a Little girl and a Lass. Talk to the little Girl and she will ask you for help finding her lost "Mr. Bunny" on the beach. You can find a lost rabbit plush at the end of the sand bar on the right, but picking it up will trigger a battle with a wild Pokémon. Defeat it and bring the toy back to the little girl. She will run away and you can find her back at the end of the sand bar. She thanks you for helping her reunite with her friend and awakens your Easter Island Totem to Lv2.

Hatch 10 eggs and talk to the Gate Guardian on the left. He will challenge you to a battle. Beat him to unlock the Bloom Forest area.

==== Area 3: Bloom Forest ====
Near where you enter the forest you will find an Artist NPC with a quest marker above his head. Talk to him and he will complain that the wild Pokémon stole all the wooden eggs from the diorama he was making. He tasks you to find and defeat 6 Ovipter that are roaming around the forest in the overworld. Find them and KO them to gather all 6 wooden eggs. When you bring them back to the artist he will tell you that the centerpiece is missing now, a wooden statue of a bird. He suggests a wild Pokémon might have taken it and suggests you search for its nest. Find the wild Pokémon and defeat it to get the Bird Statue and an Egg. Bring the Bird Statue back to the artist to awaken your Easter Totem to Lv3.

After awakening your totem, hatch 20 eggs, then talk to the Gate Guardian to the south. Defeat him in battle to unlock the Lake.

==== Area 4: Springtide Lake ====
Talk to the Janitor standing in the middle of the bridge to start the main quest. He will task you with helping collect trash that was scattered in the lake. Explore the area until you've collected 15 pieces of trash, then talk to the Janitor again. After some dialogue, it will trigger a boss fight with a wild Pokémon. After you defeat it, the Janitor will awaken your Easter Totem to Lv4.

After hatching 30 eggs, talk to the Gate Guardian to the south and beat him to unlock the final area, the Garden.

====Area 5: Verdant Garden====
Next to one of the entrances to the bamboo maze, you'll find Romeo, a young man who's staring at a girl picking flowers. Talk to him, and he'll tell you he wants to get the girl's attention, but he's too scared to go into the garden himself because he isn't a trainer. He asks you to bring him 4 Verdant Blooms from the garden. As you gather them, one of the blooms will reveal itself to be a Pokémon, which will attack you. Bring the flowers to him and he'll get flustered before Juliet interrupts, noticing he has the flowers, and asks him on the date. Nervous but excited, Romeo leaves with her but first he fully awakens your Easter Totem to Lv 5.

Bring your fully charged totem back to the center of the village and hold it up in front of the statue. Due to the efforts of everybody on Pokengine hatching 10,000 Eggs, The Lifebringer will awaken, and challenge you to a battle. Defeat it using your strongest Pokémon to bring back springtime and complete the main challenge, earning the Lifebringer achievement.

After you awaken the Lifebringer, there is one extra challenge in the form of the Elder himself, who will challenge you to battle using a full team of his strongest Pokémon. Defeat him to be entered into the Hall of Fame.

===Walkthrough - Part 2===
After defeating the Elder, you can talk to Sunny, who tells you that something is wrong with Togepi. After seeing Togepi evolve, you need to talk to Sunny's Grandmother who is guarding the entrance to the Borough.

Once you defeat Granny in a Pokemon battle, Sunny and her Granny realize there is a huge snowstorm threatening Easter Island, which means you have to explore the Borough and find the Caregiver. 

When you enter the Borough, make sure to get the golden egg and put it in your party if you do not already have a Togepi in your party or PC. Once you have one, go to the north side to find the entrance to the Caretaker's chambers. Before you can enter, you need to fight Sunny. If you haven't obtained a Togetic by this point, the Caretaker will not challenge you. You can get one by leveling up Togepi in the Borough. After showing the Caretaker your Togetic, it challenges you to a battle. 

After defeating the Caretaker, it gives you one of its feathers. Use it to evolve Togetic to a Togekiss. At this point, you can return to Blizzard Beach. The Madrursa that caused the snowstorm is to the north. Once it is defeated, you can return to the south side of Rabat Racetrack to find Vince and Van stealing eggs. Defeat them in a double battle to make them leave.

==Golden Egg Locations==
Two golden eggs are hidden on each map in the first part of Easter Island. These eggs have unique Mons in them that can't be obtained via normal eggs. Golden eggs appear as normal eggs once they're in your party or PC, so keep track of them!
